2022 Annual Marian Festival

The 48th Annual Marian Festival will be held at the Sacred Heart Cathedral, Bendigo on Sunday 16 October, 2022, beginning with 11am Mass and concluding at 3:40pm.

The Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima of the Diocese of Sandhurst joyfully invites all members of the faithful to come and join the celebrations of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima in 1917, and as she requested, to pray for world peace.

The festival has the Blessing of the Most Rev. Bishop Shane Mackinlay.

Tour of Our Lady of Fatima statue

The Apostolate of Our Lady of Fatima of the diocese of Sandhurst plan to make available the beautiful hand carved and tinted statue of Our Lady of Fatima for a visit to your parish, if you wish, prior to the festival.

The statue will be accompanied with material to copy, a suggested program and a roster of parishes indicating their intentions. A week at each church between July and September 2022 enabling the statue to return for the festival at the Cathedral is envisioned.

Could you please indicate your preference of dates to the secretary and a roster will be drawn up and placed in the box with the statue. If a member of each parish then delivers the statue to the next parish this will simplify the transition.
